Solar Maid - the leading Solar Janitorial O&M company - developed a solution to a problem many of their customers were having - pests or animals getting under their panels and chewing the wires. After years of research and development, Solar Armor has perfected the pest abatement system involving a specific width of PVC coated galvanized steel mesh and it’s adjoining proprietary clipping system. 

This solution has protected thousands of residential solar systems from the havoc that pigeons, squirrels, and other pests can wreak over the years. That protection comes at a cost. As prices for this specific mesh has increased over the years, it was time that Solar Maid find a new solution. The inception of Solar Armor was to begin wholesaling the same high quality mesh that Solar Maid had used for years, only at a fraction of the cost.

At Solar Armor, our philosophy is to constantly work towards finding economic and ecological solutions as new obstacles arise in this ever changing market. Solar Armor is currently designing a solution to the problem of rainfall coming through the gaps between panels in carports, our “gap-guards”. As a forward-thinking company, Solar Armor wants to work side-by-side with customers to develop specific solutions to problems. If one customer is having this problem, chances are, many others are having it as well.
